The stone is a lovely 36.70 ct very large untreated – unheated – not filled ruby. It has a large inclusion on the back tip base of the stone which could be hidden with a basket when making a ring. It's a shame to recut the stone, which is from Burma; it has pink/red and some orange colour. The back inclusion cannot be seen from the top of the stone, which is called the table.
